WHAT’S NEXT?
Once you complete your online registration, you will receive an email inviting you to download our app, Zen Planner.
You will also receive a temporary password to log in for the first time to the app and install your account on the app.
Then the waivers must be signed through the app, once that is done the calendar will be freed up and you will RESERVE your track practice sessions through the calendar. Sessions must be reserved at least 6 hours in advance.
*The Zen Planner app is primarily used for paying bills and reserving practice. There is an additional communication platform that is used to get timely and important messages to our track athletes and family’s. The GroupMe app link will be sent to you either through email or text once we have received your registration online and added you to the roster. If you do not get an invite link to that platform within a week of registering, contact clientsupport@plus2-u.com.
Make sure to bring regular shoes, cleats or track spikes and water to every session!

ABOUT OUR ATHLETE TRACK TEAM
Plus 2 University offers a competitive AAU & USATF track team opportunity for both boys and girls from ages 5-18. AAU stands for Amateur Athletic Union. USATF stands for United States Track and Field.
The Plus 2 University – Columbus Track Team competes in both indoor and outdoor track seasons. Indoor season begins in mid November and runs through mid-March.
Outdoor season begins in late March and continues through late July culminating with Club Nationals and / or Junior Olympics in late July / early August.
Whether you want to make a full time commitment to the Plus 2 University Track Team or a part time commitment, our track experience is flexible and allows for any level of commitment. We train and practice 1-3 days per week during the winter months (indoor season). During the late spring season and summer months the team trains and practices 3-4 days a week in preparation for dual meets, Districts, Regionals and Junior Olympics.
Plus 2 University’s track athletes are coached and trained by top sprint and jump coaches from the Plus 2 University Performance team. We put an emphasis on outdoor track training in preparation for dual meets, districts, regionals, and junior olympics.
INDOOR SEASON (mid November to Mid March): This is a time to develop specific strength / power, sprint mechanics and SPEED. Max Speed is a top priority for the indoor season. We highly emphasize all athletes including our elite middle school & high school sprinters run club track during the indoor season because it is not regulated by OHSAA and we can control more of the training variables during these 5 months. This gives you the best chance to improve your performances significantly and shine on a national stage at Nike Indoor Nationals (NIN) or New Balance Indoor Nationals (NBN). Grade school athletes will end their season at AAU Indoor Nationals in Virginia Beach.
- Top middle school & high school athletes – will compete in high school meets through the indoor season ending at Nationals.
- Grade school & developing athletes will compete in AAU youth meets throughout the season ending at AAU indoor nationals.
OUTDOOR SEASON (early April – Late July): This is a time for new athletes and / or athletes who need more development in track and field to train, practice and compete. The outdoor season has meets throughout the summer to build your race-specific speed and capacity as well as build field event technique and skills.
**If you are an elite high school athlete, the athlete elite training program is likely the better fit / option for your training following the high school season. We can provide higher level training in a semi-private environment to maximize your performance and peak you for national competitions ( Nike Outdoor, New Balance , Brooks, U20’s ,etc )
Track-specific questions should be directed to coach Eric Lichter (eric@plus2-u.com)
