Nestled on the southeast corner of the Busch Commerce Center building (6281 Busch Blvd, just west of Busch Blvd), Plus 2 University’s Columbus location is a state-of-the-art athletic training facility spanning 14,000 square feet. Designed to provide top-tier training and recovery experiences for athletes, the facility offers four distinct, specialized areas:
- Recovery Area: Equipped with 2 cold plunges, a Normatec recovery lounge, Theraguns, heating pads, and various other recovery tools, this area is dedicated to helping athletes rest, recover, and rejuvenate.
- Strength Training & Multipurpose Area: This space features the complete Keiser Pneumatic air resistance equipment line, 4 rack stations, ROGUE plate loaded belt squats and lower body strength equipment , free weights, Vertimax Speed Raptors, and even a large outdoor sandpit for a wide range of strength and conditioning exercises.
- Sprint Lab: Spanning over 5,000 square feet of field turf, the Sprint Lab includes a 4-lane, 70-yard straightaway for sprinting, 5 1080 Sprint machines, 3 Run Rockets, 2 Vertimax Raptors, and a 5-lane timing gate system. This area is meticulously designed for speed development and sprint training.
- Physical Therapy Center: Complete with 3 private treatment rooms, this center is dedicated to addressing and rehabilitating athletes’ physical needs, ensuring optimal performance and injury prevention.
